American Biosurgical’s new medical cable manufacturing plant in Dong Guan, China receives ISO 13485 & ISO 9001 certification

Norcross, GA. – May 8, 2009 American Biosurgical, a custom medical cable manufacturer, today announced that its Dong Guan, China manufacturing plant has successfully received ISO 13485:2003 & ISO 9001:2008 certification. The manufacturing plant was audited by The Medical Health Services unit of TÜV Rheinland in Shenzhen, China.
The certifications specify requirements for a quality management system to demonstrate the ability to provide medical devices and related services that consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements applicable to medical devices.
